bokeh of searing colors eventually come into focus. the raven sits in the deep blue shadow of a massive sand dune. the sun crests the top of the dune, carving out its face as the shadow slithers across the sand like an intoxicated snail. the raven slowly gets to its feet and looks around. approaching from a distant dune is a blinding white figure, cloaked from head to toe.
